          "Life creates demands (load). The body adjusts (allostasis). Responses may resolve through recovery, while repeated or sustained adaptation may bring accumulating physiological costs (allostatic load). Reserve concerns the capacity available for further demands; resilience concerns what happens when a disturbance arrives.",
