适应模型:不同框架分别解释什么?

预测、累积成本、响应范围与复原力轨迹:理解不同模型的用处,以及它们仍未回答的问题。

先明确模型回答的问题

模型选择一部分关系来解释。比较模型时,应关注它把什么视为系统、哪些量会变化、提出什么预测,以及怎样的观察能够质疑它。下面的框架彼此重叠,但不是可以互换的检测工具,也不是理论排名。

Sterling:为需求提前准备

Sterling 在 2012 年的阐述强调预测、协调资源分配和学习。这提示 TAP 关注挑战发生之前的过程,以及能够改变暴露的行为。[1]

这是一套以理论为主的论证。准确介绍它,需要说明其假设,而不是宣称 homeostasis 或反馈机制已被推翻。有说服力的生理实例,也不等于理论的所有延伸都得到验证。

适应负荷:适应可能付出的成本

McEwen 与 Stellar 将压力、个体差异和累积生理成本联系起来,强调在时间中反复或持续适应的问题。[2]

它不同于观察某一次反应是否快速回落。疲劳感,以及示意曲线下方的阴影面积,都不能直接确定一个人的适应负荷。

Reactive Scope:调节范围很重要

Romero 等人区分了支持可预测需求和意外要求的介质范围,以及过载和失效范围。他们的图示考虑了经历和情境如何改变这些范围。[3]

响应范围针对具体介质和生物体。把图中边界变成人类通用阈值,或把范围宽度称为实际测得的储备评分,都需要另外论证。

NIH:明确系统,跟随响应

NIH 框架围绕系统、挑战及其随时间变化的响应组织复原力研究,包括抵抗、适应、恢复和改善。[4]

它带来一个实用的问题:在什么挑战之后,用多长时间观察哪项功能?引用这一框架,不代表 NIH 认可 TAP 的模型或任何干预。

新的理论提议:动态适应与主动推断

Harrison 等人从理论上联系动态适应、主动推断和复原力表型,也关注能够改变环境的行为。[5]

这篇发表于 2025 年的论文属于 Hypothesis and Theory,值得新框架认真比较。其中四种表型不应被当作已经确立的诊断分类。联系动态适应与复原力,已经是文献中的研究方向,不是 TAP 新发现的关系。

TAP 的整合从哪里开始

TAP 用这些研究传统组织三个问题:出现了什么要求,系统如何调节,特定功能随后如何变化。生理储备可能参与响应,但不等同于挑战之后观察到的轨迹。[6]

我们提出的贡献,是把解释、假设与可能的测量方式明确对应。它的价值可以通过是否减少概念误用、是否支持更好的可检验问题来判断。整合框架本身尚未得到实证验证。
