Research sources

Trace claims to directly relevant original research and consider appropriate evidence syntheses. Examine methods, participants and limitations; do not infer quality from an abstract, journal name or study design alone.

Research explanations should describe the search scope and selection criteria, including uncertainty and findings that do not support expectations. An article should be called a systematic review only after the corresponding work has been completed. PRISMA is a reporting guideline, not a quality certification.

Interpretation

Distinguish association from causation, mechanisms from effects in humans, and ingredient studies from finished-product studies. Specify the population, intervention, comparison, outcome and observation period; avoid unsupported generalisation across populations or products.

Label scientific concepts, research explanations and project models separately. Educational curves disclose their assumptions and limits and do not produce health scores. Project-specific terms must not be presented as established medical concepts.

Review and accountability

Published articles should identify their actual authors, relevant professional background, scientific reviewers and review dates. Scientific review concerns the content and evidence; an advisory list cannot substitute for reviewing each article.

Each graded claim records an assessor and a separate verifier, sources, search information, domain judgments and limitations. Article review and the assessment of a particular claim are recorded as separate states.

These contributors have not yet been appointed. We retain “Editorial draft” and “Unassessed” labels and do not display invented expert names or review credentials.

Updates and corrections

Articles distinguish content updates from scientific review dates. A wording change is not a new scientific review.

Record the date, version, substance and reason for important changes. Explain changes to conclusions or grades. When a citation error is found, check other pages that may be affected.

A formal feedback channel is still being arranged. During this preview, feedback can be shared in the project review discussion with the page URL, passage or claim, issue and a verifiable source. The website does not yet provide an online submission form.

Interests and funding

The project is founded and supported by Resilio. Articles should disclose relevant interests involving authors, reviewers and the research discussed. Citing a study does not endorse a product's effectiveness.

The relationship between editorial decisions and the funder has yet to be formally defined. We do not currently claim an independent editorial system. Before formal publication, responsibility for commissioning, review, final publication and dispute resolution should be explicit.
